A railway spokesperson has given this information today. The spokesman said that the Railways has also constituted a committee, which will inquire into the complaints of successful and unsuccessful candidates in the examinations conducted by various Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs). According to the spokesperson, after hearing the complaints and concerns of both the parties, the committee will submit a report to the Ministry of Railways.

The result of RRB-NTPC exam was released on January 14-15, after which the protest of the candidates started. 1 crore 40 lakh candidates had appeared in these examinations and since the results came, the issue of dissatisfaction among the students has been overshadowed.

Railways took a big decision

Meanwhile, amid growing protests, the Ministry of Railways issued a statement on Tuesday, warning the candidates to be banned for life from getting railway jobs.

Students who are found guilty of damaging railway property and protesting on railway tracks will be banned for getting railway jobs and they will not be able to get railway jobs.

Railway had issued a notice warning the candidates that the recruitment of people involved in other illegal activities including sabotage during the demonstration would be banned forever. This warning came in the wake of protesting candidates sitting on dharna on railway tracks at many places in Bihar.
