Corona in Delhi: In view of the decreasing number of corona cases in the capital Delhi, the restrictions can be relieved in the next few days. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has indicated that the restrictions will be reduced. He told that the infection rate in Delhi is decreasing. He said that together we and the LG will remove the restrictions as soon as possible.
Actually, on January 27, there will be a meeting of DDMA under the chairmanship of Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal. Chief Minister Kejriwal can also take part in it. The current situation of Corona will be reviewed in this meeting. It is believed that many important decisions can be taken in the meeting.
What things are expected to be relieved
1. Weekend Curfew: Due to Corona, a weekend curfew has been imposed in the capital Delhi. It can be removed. The Kejriwal government had also recommended lifting the weekend curfew last week. However, it was not approved by the Lieutenant Governor.
2. Regarding shops: At present, non-essential shops are being opened in Delhi on the basis of odd-even. This can also provide relief. After the infection subsides, there is a demand to open shops in Delhi again every day. Merchant organizations have also demanded to end the odd-even system.
3. Schools Regarding: Schools were closed in Delhi from December 29 after the introduction of the Omicron variant. The news agency quoted official sources as saying that in this meeting the idea of reopening the school from February can also be considered. Based on the vaccination status of the children, a decision can be taken to reopen the school.
Why get relief?
Cases are decreasing: Corona cases are decreasing rapidly in Delhi. On Monday, 5,760 cases of corona were reported in the capital and 30 patients died. A day earlier on Sunday, there were 9,197 cases and 34 deaths.
Reduction in infection rate: The positivity rate is also decreasing continuously. On January 15, the infection rate in Delhi had reached 30.6%. On Monday, the infection rate in Delhi was recorded at 11.79%. CM Kejriwal told that today Delhi can have a positivity rate around 10%.
– Crowd in hospitals is less: Now the crowd in Delhi’s hospitals is also decreasing. According to the Health Department, on January 19, 2,624 patients were admitted in Delhi hospitals. At the same time, till Monday, the number of patients admitted in the hospital came down to 2,290.
Delhi Covid 19 Cases Today:
The danger of corona in Delhi seems to be decreasing. If we talk about the fresh cases, in the last 24 hours, 6028 new cases have been reported here and 9,127 people have also been cured of this disease. However, 31 people have died due to this during this period. At the same time, now the number of active patients in Delhi has come down to 42,010. Apart from this, the rate of infection in Delhi has reached 10.55 percent.
So many patients are home isolated
A total of 57,132 tests were conducted in Delhi in the last 24 hours, out of which 6,028 people have been found to be corona positive. At the same time, 33,602 corona patients are now home isolated in Delhi. At the same time, 2,1649 Covid patients are admitted in the hospital. Of these, 817 patients are admitted in ICU, while 768 corona virus patients are on oxygen support.
